David A. Oblon
A nationally-known lawyer, David Oblon regularly appears in the national and international media providing commentary and opinions on the legal issues of the day. Mr. Oblon is a founding partner of Albo & Oblon, L.L.P. -- one of Virginia's 75 largest law firms -- and sits as the firm's managing partner. An active, accomplished litigator, he regularly litigates in the state and federal courts of Virginia for both civil and criminal litigation with an emphasis on criminal law, constitutional law, employment law, and civil business litigation. He is licensed to practice in Virginia and the District of Columbia.
Mr. Oblon earned his Juris Doctor degree from the George Mason University School of Law and earned his Bachelor's Degree from the George Washington University.
In 2006, Mr. Oblon was profiled by Washingtonian magazine as being one of the Washington, D.C. area's "40 Top Lawyers Under 40." That same year, Law and Politics magazine listed him as one of Virginia's "Super Lawyers."

In 2006, 2003 and 2002, Virginia Business magazine named Mr. Oblon one of Virginia's "Legal Elite." The magazine polled more than 6,000 lawyers in compiling its' list of lawyers that it considers to be "the very best lawyers in the commonwealth."
In 1995, Mr. Oblon won the Republican nomination for the Virginia Senate and went on to lead the party ticket in the election that year.
